CHALK and CHOCOLATE 2008 Berkeley, California

Imad Obegi took this photo of John Aaron finishing up
his CHOCOLATE 4 PEACE drawing at CHALK and CHOCOLATE
May 31 in Berkeley. The sidewalks became glittering
paths of color; and the scrumptious chocolate treats
offered by the local restaurants in the Gourmet Ghetto
were quite memorable. Must have been six city blocks of chalk!
Nice work, Lisa Bullwinkle!

LESSON # 1: Drawing the Proper Peace Symbol

A PEACE SYMBOL has FOUR LINES;
A MERCEDES Logo has THREE.

This photo shows the difference. It helps to know... This drawing celebrates Pangea Day, a global communication event, which happened January 17, 2008 and was broadcast May 10, 2008. PANGEA is the name of the single continent all land masses came from.

CHALK4PEACE wants to help EVERYONE draw....

CHALK4PEACE is dedicated to assisting anyone and everyone to
be a part of this worldwide event.
Some folks have trouble getting down to the drawing surface.
Shown is the prototype "Matisse Drawing Stick" in action at Glebe
Elementary School, VA 2006. The instrument allows the chairbound
and those who cannot bend down the chance to draw for
CHALK4PEACE. We seek assistance in producing these drawing
tools so that we may provide them for schools upon request.
Please contribute by clicking on the TITLE OF THIS POST...
